How to Draw An Angry Bird
Step 1
In mobile games, Angry Birds characters are small and round, and their faces are the only distinguishing feature they have.
The design we will create in this Angry Bird drawing guide is based more on the movie look of this character as he will have limbs and be posing.
For this first step, we will draw the top of his head. You can start drawing some rounded lines with small sharp curves for the top of his head.
The small curves outline a little feather lighter.
There will also be a feather on his head, and then you can complete this step by drawing his two big eyebrows. Remember to tilt them down, as we want you to look angry!
Step 2
For this second phase of your Angry Bird drawing, we’ll draw some arms for the character.
His arms are stretched outwards, and the ends are closed into fists to show further that this little guy is quite angry!
His arms will be fairly short but also fairly thick and stocky. To draw his arms, we’re going to use some lines similar to the ones you used for the top of his head.
This means we will use curved lines with some pointed pieces sticking out to make it look like they have a feather-like texture.
That’s all for this second step; now you’re ready for part 3!
Step 3
To continue with this Angry Bird drawing guide, let’s outline the bird’s body before adding more internal details.
For her back, use a softly curved stripe going down. However, for his belly, we’ll use a different line similar to the one we used before, which means we’ll draw a curved line with some sharp points.
Then you can add a small squat section near the bottom of his body. This will form the feathered top of his leg, and in the next step, we will draw the rest of the leg.
Step 4
In the next part of your Angry Bird drawing, you’ll add the rest of his legs and other details.
First, use some small rounded lines to create his foot under the blunt feathered section you drew in the previous step.
Next, draw another of those small feathered sections on the side of its body, and then draw another foot sticking out of it to make it look like it’s kicking.
Next, we draw its beak. This is drawn with curved lines to twist the beak into an angry grin.
The last thing to add before moving on to the next step is a rounded line for the outline of her stomach.
Step 5
You can now add the finishing touches and details before moving on to the final step of this how-to-draw Angry Birds guide.
First, we will draw his eyes. These are oval and go just below her large brows. Draw a circle in each one, then add a point for their pupils.
Next, draw some line detail around his eyes and face, then add a jagged line on his chest. Finally, draw small rectangular shapes on the back to make the tail stand out.
Once these are all drawn, you can add some details!
Step 6
This is the final step of your Angry Bird drawing, and in it, we are going to finish it off with some paint.
In our reference image, we used the usual color scheme of this character with shades of red. You can refer to this if you want to stick to the typical color scheme.
You can also create your own Angry Birds character by changing details and choosing different colors instead!
